KUALA LUMPUR, 22 August 2023 – Loke Siew Fook, Minister of Transport has officiated the Malaysian Aviation Safety Seminar 2023 (MASS ’23) today.
The seminar aims to address current aviation safety topics, promote industry best practices, encourage safety data and information exchange to build a strong and proactive aviation safety culture.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) with the support of the Ministry of Transport (MOT) and cooperation from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and BOEING has gathered representatives from 39 ICAO Member States. Renowned industry experts from these countries have exchanged views and shared invaluable knowledge with a focus on improving aviation safety, challenges, safety initiatives and the latest industry trends.
The seminar was graced by the presence of Dato’ Jana Santhiran Muniayan, Secretary General of the Ministry of Transport; YBrs. Captain Norazman, Chief Executive Officer of the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM); FAA side, BOEING side and industry players.
