KUALA LUMPUR: The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Datuk Kamarudin Jaffar will be on his working visit to the United Kingdom (UK) from 8th to 11th May 2022 and is scheduled to meet Secretary General of the Commonwealth, the Rt. Hon. Patricia Scotland to exchange views and discuss the way forward to further strengthen Malaysia-Commonwealth cooperation.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in its statement said, Kamarudin who is accompanied by officials from the Ministry is also scheduled to receive Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob during the latter’s stopover in London on 10th May 2022.
“Kamarudin will subsequently accompany the Prime Minister to the “Tenun Pahang: Weaving Hope” exhibition at the High Commission of Malaysia, London.
“The Deputy Minister will also be accompanying Prime Minister to “Sambutan Hari Raya with Keluarga Malaysia” in London,” the statement added.
According to the statement, the gathering will provide opportunities for Prime Minister to engage with “Keluarga Malaysia” abroad on the initiatives introduced by the Government. – Malaysia World News
