KUALA LUMPUR: Media practitioners, journalists and news editors, will be receiving their Covid-19 vaccinations on Wednesday (June 9), said Minister for the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme,Khairy Jamaluddin.
The Star quoted him saying “some have received their appointments on Monday (June 7) and will be getting their vaccines this Wednesday (June 9).”
Khairy said he is trying to increase the number of media practitioners who will be vaccinated.
“We are still finalising the number and steadily pushing it up,” he told reporters at an event
A total of 5,687 media practitioners from 114 registered media outlets will receive Covid-19 vaccination jabs.
