Mrs. Asia International Tourism 2016, Melissa Seow, 33, mother of triplets shares her beauty pageant feelings and experience, in an exclusive interview with Malaysia World News (MWN).
Asked how she feels being a Mrs. Beauty Queen, she said: ” It feels like a dream come true.”
“Like many little girls, I grew up watching pageants as part of the family activity. It feels surreal to me that I had been given this opportunity, regardless of being married and with 3 children. Therefore, I am extremely honored and grateful for this amazing journey I am blessed with”
Besides the title of Mrs.Asia International Tourism 2016, Melissa Seow has also won Mrs. Elegance Subtitle Award and Mrs. Body Beautiful Award, at Mrs. Asia International 2016 World Grand Final that was held on 10th June 2016, at eCity Subang Hotel.
Mrs. Asia International 2016 World Grand Final Top 5 Winners were: Kim Nguyen from Vietnam, Melissa Seow from Malaysia, Karine Estelle from Singapore, Hilary Lok from Malaysia, Shibata Chie from Japan.

Melissa, the graduate in Business Law from Monash University, has never expected to win this beauty pageant title, she said.
Her achievement in pageantry is a step towards her goal to continuously inspire and empower other women around the world.
She believes that beauty queens can truly lead a meaningful, fulfilling and very happy life.
For her, “beauty is feeling confident both inside and out. It can be very subjective as well.

However, her triplet daughters are the biggest reason why she is in the beauty pageant.
“The fact that I am now a mother of triplets made me, even more, determine to be a role model to my daughters and many out there,” she said
As a mother, she wants them to be able to have the confidence to chase after their own dreams and do well for the society.
“I may not be physically available throughout their lifetime, cause human will age, but I hope by setting a good example, they will always remember mummy has tried hard to be wife, mother, daughter, and friend and hope they will bring this memory along with them to brave all the challenges in life that they will encounter in the near future,” she added.
Besides working with Dr Ko Skin Specialist which is one of the largest and leading dermatology and laser centre in Asia, providing a range of aesthetic services from cosmetic dermatology, dentistry, and plastic surgery, she is also a self-taught cake artist.
Her husband, Vince Tan, an entrepreneur who has recently received the Entrepreneur Insight’s “100 Most Influential Young Entrepreneur 2016” Award, believes in pushing the boundaries to achieve the best with her. She said, their motto is: “always striving for progression and not perfection”
The Mrs. Asia International Pageant, organized by Dato Timothy Gan & Datin Sharon Too, looks into the true essence of modern empowered women who aspire to achieve balance in their lives and significantly contribute to both their families and society.
