Rumours are rife that Fan Bingbing will be returning to showbiz sooner than one expected, after she was seen attending the IQIYI Ninth Anniversary Gala, Epoch Times and yahoo news reported.
According to Epoch Times, the actress, who has not been seen in public for nearly a year since her tax evasion scandal made news, made an appearance at the event in Beijing in a Luis Vuitton ensemble, very much the fashionista that she is.
Although she gave no interview at the red carpet, the media said, a source at the event stated that Fan’s appearance at the gala was just to “test the water”, and asses what the world may think about her comeback.
Safe to say that her appearance at the event had successfully attracted a large number of media, the report added.
It is also speculated that Fan’s decision to attend her first public event was to prepare herself for her upcoming movie – the Hollywood all-female spy flick, “355”.
