Iran-Israel War: Several countries reopen their airspaces

KUALA LUMPUR: The governments of Iran, Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon have announced the reopening of their airspaces and the resumption of flight operations in their respective countries.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement said the government reiterates the importance for Malaysians to be vigilant and adhere to instructions of the local authorities in these countries.

“It is anticipated that there may be possible flight delays as operations gradually resume and adjust to the new protocols.

“Malaysian travellers are advised to stay informed about any potential disruptions and plan their journeys accordingly,” the statement said.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in its statement on 14th April said that the government was closely monitoring the development in the Middle East following the recent Iran-Israel tension.

The statement added, as the result of the escalating tensions, several countries including Iran, Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq had closed their airspaces. – Malaysia World News
