KUALA LUMPUR NOV.22: His Majesty Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah urged all Malaysians to be patient while waiting for the appointment of the 10th Prime Minister following no party coalition had garnered enough number of Members of Parliament (MP) to have a simple majority in the Dewan Rakyat.
His Majesty Al-Sultan Abdullah said, the new Prime Minister will be decided soon,” he said to the media at the Istana Negara premises here today.
In another development the Pakatan Harapan Chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Perikatan Nasional (PN) Chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had been seen entering Istana Negara around 4.15pm to have an audience with His Majesty Al-Sultan Abdullah at 4.30pm today.
Meanwhile it was reported that Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin came out of Istana Negara at about 5.00pm without speaking to the media.
However Anwar Ibrahim when asked by the media of how many MPs have he garnered to supported him to form the new federal government, he did not answer but instead said, he respects and abides to whatever His Majesty had said.
According to Anwar His Majesty had requested for the understanding and the unity of the people and there is no question of forming the government.
He added, there is no time line for the formation of the new government. It is up to the discretion of His Majesty Al-Sultan Abdullah to decide on the appointment of the 10th Prime Minister.
“We will respect, seek His Majesty’s advice and accept his decision,” Anwar said before he left the media and walked to his car.-Malaysia World News
