Go Auto, Malaysia’s sole distributor of Haval cars, tends to capture a bigger slice of the local SUV market this year with the introduction of the 2016 Haval H2 , a  sports utility vehicle (SUV)  that comes with a 1.5 turbo 2WD,  affordable price of RM89,950, and with style design and interesting new features that  would be best suited for a more mature and affluent market segment between 30 and above, and young families.

Go Auto Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Ahmad Azam Datuk Sulaiman said, the company is excited to bring in H2 models which serve as an upgrade version of the sporty M4.

The M4 (1.5 liter) model which reached Malaysia last year,  showed an encouraging response, and is indeed timely to bring a more premium and powerful range of SUV to capture a wider segment of the local SUV market.

“The presence of Haval  H2 model would certainly expand our product offerings that would suit the lifestyle and needs of a wider market segment. We are optimistic with the presence of both M4 and H2 models, we are able to secure more than 6,000 bookings this year,” he added.

The H2 comes with attractive features including six-speed automatic gearbox, electric folding side mirrors with integrated puddle lamps, a sunroof, six way electricity adjustable driver’s seat, leather upholstery, 3.5 inch TFT colour display trip computer and a multifunction steering wheel.

Haval H2 has a 1.5L turbo petrol engine, with maximum power output in kilowatt/hp at 5600 is 110/147 and the maximum output of torque at 210Nm is 220rpm to 4500 rpm.

The H2 is also equipped with six airbags (front passenger and driver, side curtain, front sides), electricity stability programme, and ABS with Electronic Parking Brake.

The Haval H2 comes with attractive FR-LH (front left hand side) blind spot visual system, stylish headlamp with day running light (DRL), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and anti-glare rear view mirror.

According to Ahmad Azam, for the start, 100 units of CBU  Haval H2 are ready for bookings until September/October and after which the SUV will come in CKD version.-malaysiaworldnews.
