KUALA LUMPUR: PAS Youth Chief, Ahmad Fadhli Shaari said, UMNO and Pakatan Harapan (PH) need not be “chaotic” but just wait until the Malaysia Anti- Corruption Commission (MACC) carries out its investigation on the alleged cash money bribery during the 15th General Election (GE-15).
He said, the term “charity” or “bribery” can only be proved via investigation and charges will be made if the case is found true, as quoted by “Sinar Harian.”
Meanwhile, UMNO Supreme Council member Isham Jalil slams a PAS leader who allegedly is fond of accusing others of corruption and regards himself as “clean.”
“Without shame, these groups bribed voters in God’s name. Maybe Allah SWT wants to reveal the lies. When people report to the police and file petition on them, they defended themselves with “dalil” and labelled bribes as charity.
“This group has also claimed it depends on one’s intention and will say that others are also doing the same,” he said in statement as quoted by NST.
Isham was said to have responded to several PAS leaders including the information chief, Khairil Nizam Khiruddin and youth chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari who defended a statement issued by PAS President Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang who said that individual contributions during the GE-15 was “sedekah” or donation for charity. – Malaysia World News
