SUNGAI BESAR: Barisan Nasional (BN) will give out free laptops to all students under the M40 group and to teachers if the party wins the 15th General Election (GE15) on Nov 19, said BN chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
“Students in the M40 group and teachers throughout the country will also receive free laptop computers to enhance their education.
“This was the feedback received by BN from voters,” he said, as quoted by Bernama at a ‘Budi Disanjung’ programme in Parit 16, Sungai Panjang, here tonight.
Bernama also quoted BN candidate for the Sungai Besar parliamentary seat, Datuk Seri Jamal Yunos saying, BN had received requests from teachers and students in the M40 group to be given free laptop computers.
BN on Monday launched its manifesto for the 15th General Election (GE15) promising to help all Malaysians and develop the nation.
Its manifesto entitled ‘Perancangan Amal dan Usaha’ or PADU launched by Ahmad Zahid Hamidi contains 99 practices to bring up the country towards developed nation status.
“PADU is not about abolishment or reducing varied responsibilities. It is the plan BN will adopt and do our best to materialise for the betterment of all, InsyaAllah,” he said.
