Experts warn UK might face a fifth wave of coronavirus infections driven by the BA.4 and BA.5 sub-variants of Omicron, as there is a rise in UK hospital admissions for patients with Covid-19.
According to the Independent, the country saw a 43 per cent spike in cases at the beginning of June.
Hospitalisations have increased 31 per cent, climbing at a higher rate than the last Omicron revival back in March.
UK government has removed all social restrictions on 24 February, including wearing masks, distancing and hand sanitiser.
Life in UK currently looks like normal, and people no longer concern about covid-19. Their main focus now is the war in Ukraine and the cost of living crisis.
