PETALING JAYA: Ex-Treasury secretary-general Mohd Irwan Serigar Abdullah will be in court on Thursday.
Sources said, he will be slapped with at least six charges of criminal breach of trust (CBT) involving RM6 billion.
The charges are linked to the 1MDB scandal, the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) and two gas pipeline projects in the peninsula and in Sabah, a source told FMT news portal.
Former Prime Minister Najib Razak , his boss, will be produced in court too on the same day for the same charges.
“Both are expected to be charged with using approved government allocations to settle 1MDB’s dispute with International Petroleum Investment Co (IPIC),” FMT quoted the source as saying.
