PETALING JAYA – An elderly man who was beaten by a young man at an intersection in Padang Jawa, Shah Alam yesterday afternoon has lodged police report.
It was reported that the incident happened when he was on his way home from a hospital after undergoing dialysis treatment.
According to Utusan, the victim’s son known as Muhammad Azzali Zainoldin said in his Facebook, after filing the police report, his father was taken to Shah Alam Hospital, but was allowed to return at about 10.30 last night.
“His body is still weak and he complains that he still has pain in his left rib,” he said.
Muhammad Azzali explained, his father was driving back from hospital accompanied by his wife and a three -and -a -half -year -old grandson when unknowingly a speeding motorcycle overtook his father’s car not to the right to board the bridge, but the rider cut to continue to Jalan Mat Raji.
“Because of that, the suspect felt unsafe and continued to curse my father with loud screams. As an old and aged man, my father felt guilty and he got out of the car to see what was going on out of concern if there was a violation and injury to the suspect.
“There was not the slightest violation and because of dissatisfaction and seeing my father get out of the car, the suspect ‘returned’ and returned to my father’s car. He continued to be reckless towards my father and continued to hit my father, ” he wrote on his Facebook page.
Muhammad Azzali said his father did not fight because of age and had just completed dialysis.
He added, the suspect ‘climbed’ on his father’s body and kept punching him in the face and continued to step on the body of the elderly man.
“Dad did not fight because he was powerless and when he was beaten, he was protecting his left arm and waist from being injured. This is because he is worried that his dialysis ‘site’ will break or break.
“The mother and three -and -a -half -year -old nephew who were in the car could only see a husband and grandfather being beaten,” Muhammad Azzali said.
