Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad’ s party Pejuang did not win any seat at the Johor state assembly elections yesterday, which means that the Malays no longer listen to him and have rejected him and his party.

His party had contested in 42 constituencies (for 42 seats) but none of his party candidates won any seat they had contested.

Mahathir established his new political party in August 2020 after breaking up with Bersatu.

On the contrary, his rival and best enemy UMNO and Barisan Nasional (BN) have won 40 seats out of 56 in total.
