KUALA LUMPUR JAN.22: The former Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad is reported to be in a stable condition after being treated at the Institiut Jantung Negara (IJN) two days ago following the successful elective medical procedure implemented on 8th Jan.2022.
His daughter, Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir in a statement said, her father has given good response to the treatment.
Marina added, her mother Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali and family hope the rakyat will pray for Tun Dr. Mahathir’s speedy and full recovery.
Earlier today, it was reported that Dr. Mahathir was admitted to the hospital’s Coronary Care Unit (CCU).
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob was seen entering the hospital at 5.30pm today and spent around 30 minutes at the specialist heart facility.
Earlier this month, the IJN in a statement said, Dr. Mahathir was admitted to IJN for an elective medical procedure. On 16th Dec.2021 Dr. Mahathir was admitted to IJN for a full medical check up and further observation and he was discharged on 22nd Dec.2021. –Malaysia World News
