PUTRAJAYA NOV.18: Senior Chief Assistant Director of the Ministry of Health Head Office, Dr. Chai Koh Meow has passed away on the 17th November 2021 and investigation on the cause of his death is still ongoing.
Director General of Health, Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham said, Dr. Chai had completed his COVID-19 booster dose on 9th November 2021 and it was reported that he did not report on any abnormal side effects from the vaccination.
Dr. Noor Hisham added, Dr. Chai had been working as usual until 16th November 2021. As investigation is still ongoing and as such MOH hopes that no party will make any speculation on this case until the official forensic results is obtained.
“MOH hopes the local community will respect Dr. Chai’s family privacy. The Ministry was saddened with the passing on of one of our officers that was committed and dedicated to his job,” Dr. Noor Hisham said in his Facebook post here today.
According to Dr. Noor Hisham, the late Dr. Chai was a very pleasant person and well liked by the colleagues and local community besides the traditional medication and complementary. –Malaysia World News
