KUALA LUMPUR: On December 8, the Court of Appeal will give its final decision on whether former prime minister Najib Razak is guilty or not.
The Office of the Chief Registrar of the Federal Court (PKPMP), in a statement today, said the decision will be delivered at 9am.
On 28th July 2020, Najib filed an appeal against the High Court’s decision which sentenced him to 12 years’ jail and a fine of RM210 million after finding him guilty of seven charges of criminal breach of trust (CBT), money laundering and abuse of position, involving SRC International funds totalling RM42 million.
The Pekan MP ’s application was allowed to stay the execution of the decision pending the disposal of his appeal, with bail of RM2 million in two sureties.
