PUTRAJAYA 31 JAN:- After two years celebrating the new year far away from the family, this year the Chinese community could return to their parents and beloved family to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said, the good opportunity should strengthen and make the relationship of the family closer. However in times of happiness, one should not forget to adhere to the SOP to enable everybody could live and stop the transmission of COVID-19 pandemic.
“Thank you to all the Chinese community who have been together with other races such as the Malays, Indian, Kadazan, Dusun, Murut, Iban, Bidayuh and Melanau as a Malaysian Family.
“In conjunction with the Year of the Tiger, it is our hope that all the government’s efforts to ensure the economic stability and the well-being of people could be elevated for many years ahead.
“Let us all be united to support the government’s efforts to recover and restructure the national economy to make Malaysia a fully developed nation. The Malaysian economy is placed on the correct path towards recovery based on the reopening of more than 90 per cent of the economic sectors and most of the social activities,” he said in a statement in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration tomorrow.-Malaysia World News
