London: China should be sued in the international court for covering up coronavirus pandemic which has killed more than 60,000 people, infected thousands others,  and caused trillions of dollars economic damages, a news  report quoted London think tank The Henry Jackson Society saying.

The report said china should be sued for at least $6.5 trillion for the global economic crisis and casualties caused by Covid-19 which early reports said it was first generated in Wuhan, China before it spread all over the world.

Many countries are today on the verge of collapsing after losing billions of dollars as their governments shut down all airports,  factories, companie and shops  and forced their citizens to stay at home so they could contain the spread of the virus.

However, Senior Chinese figures, including China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian denied claims that the virus had emerged at the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market, where wild, live animals were traded, and he accused the United States military of having imported the virus to Wuhan.

London think tank The Henry Jackson Society was reported saying the legal file should also include Breach of International Health Regulations and the cover-up of coronavirus pandemic outbreak.

The report, which was highlighted by Sydnie Morning Post, said if China provided accurate information at an early stage, “the infection would not have left China.” China only reported the disease to the WHO on December 31 and said there was no evidence of human-to-human transmission.
