British Government ships floating hospitals

British Government may be thinking to take coronavirus patients to the sea in its attempt to curb the spread of this pandemic.

Two giant cruise ships, Spirit of Discovery and Saga Sapphire, which berthed in the River Thames are allegedly on stand-by to be used as floating hospitals, Mail Online revealed.

It is also reported that the British government might use these huge vessels which host more than 2,000 cabins, if hospitals become overwhelmed.

The ships could be used to isolate patients.

Currently the two luxury ships are just sitting idle as all cruises worldwide have been cancelled due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
