Datuk Seri Sulaiman Mat Ali has sworn in as the 13th Chief Minister of Melaka early morning at 1am (Nov 21).

The swearing-in ceremony took place with the presence of the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Chairman of BN Datuk Ahmed Zahidi Hamidi and many other BN leaders.

Barisan Nasional (BN) candidates have won big and got the people's mandate to lead the state of Melaka in the State Election (PRN) this time by winning 21 seats out of a total of 28.

MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said, "BN will ensure that the manifesto promise is fulfilled for the benefit of the people and the state of Melaka.

"This is clear evidence that the people reject Pakatan Harapan which failed to govern the government well after being given a mandate in the last GE14. Their failure to fulfill the manifesto promises also caused the people’s uprising to reject them."

MCA has also made victory by snatching 2 seats from PH.

"It is a proud achievement. Hopefully this momentum will continue and we will continue to redouble our efforts," Dr Wee added in a post in his Facebook.
