KUALA LUMPUR: The ruling system based on unity that was formulated from tolerance, mutual respect and love during Prophet Muhammad’s era could be used as a guideline by the government of Malaysia.
His Majesty Yang di-Pertuan Agong, XV1 Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustaffa Billah Shah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah said, unity can be shaped naturally through respect and love amongst the people regardless of race, religion and descendant.
“Prophet Muhammad had helped the weak and the helpless people so that they could rise and in return contribute to the society,” said His Majesty Yang di-Pertuan Agong in his speech at the National Maulidul Rasul 1441 Hj. Celebration held at Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil here today.
His Majesty Al- Sultan Abdullah also stressed that justice and individual’s rights should be given to the people regardless of race and religion and these values should be secured all the time.
“The Prophet Muhammad’s great teachings on how to instil unity amongst the people should be adhered and followed by every leader and the young generation,” His Majesty Al-Sultan Abdullah reiterated.
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong cited that during Prophet Muhammad’s era in Medina, his recipe to create peace, harmony and unity was through tolerance and the use of syariat Islam based on the Quran’s teachings.
His Majesty also urged the people and the government to stop and sanction the radical beliefs’ groups that could threaten the peacefulness of the country.
“I hope the wisdom and the Islamic leadership of Prophet Muhammad could be followed and served as a useful guideline for Malaysians to move forward and become a respectful nation,” said His Majesty Sultan Al-Sutan Abdullah.
Yang di-Pertuan Agong also hopes that the Malaysians follow the great teachings of Prophet Muhammad in their lives and with that Malaysia will be blessed by Allah to become more prosperous and advanced in every field – Malaysia World News
