Actor Roy Chiu is now keeping mum about his relationship with Taiwanese actress Janine Chang although he said he was admiring her before.
The actor, who appeared at the press conference of his new stage play, Stan Lai’s “Secret Love for the Peach Blossom Spring”, declined to respond much about the topic when asked about it, Epoch Times reported,
He said, “I have recently been busy preparing for the stage play and focusing on the role. I am already working and doing my work.”
Roy stated that he is looking forward to portraying the role in the play and challenging himself as an actor.
“This will be a kind of a test to me, or the process of self-examining my performance and improving myself,” he said.
In addition to the pressure that he put on himself, Roy said that he is also pressured to meet the fans’ expectation.
Asked if the plot of the play echoes his own emotional situation in real life, he responded, “It is totally different. The story has a backdrop of the big era.”
