A 30 year old man was shot to death at a convenience store in Taman Melodies, Johor on Monday.
According to Johor police chief Comm Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat the police were still identifying the suspect.
“We are investigating the motives of the incidence and whether it is related to any gangs.
“I have yet to look at the post-mortem results,” he said in a press conference at the Johor police headquarters here on Thursday as quoted by the Star.
Kamarul Zaman added, this is a shocking case as Johor has not seen such incidence for a very long time.
The case is classified under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder and being investigated under Section 148 of the Penal Code for rioting.
