PUTRAJAYA – The Malaysian Family Aid (BKM) Phase I that will benefit 8.6 million recipients with the payment of RM100 – RM300 each will receive their money in stages starting 28th March 2022.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said, the government has allocated RM2.0 billion for BKM and the recipients include four million households, 1.2 million senior citizens (single/no partner) and 3.4 million single individuals.

Ismail said, the payments will lessen the people’s financial burden especially for the coming Ramadan 1443H and the payments will be channelled according to types of recipient and payments will be made on 28th March- 8th April 2022.

The Prime Minister said, the payment will be credited direct to the recipient’s bank account and those without bank account (including Sabah and Sarawak) will be paid on 30th March 2022 via Bank Simpanan Nasional branches.

“BSN will release the SOP guideline from time to time. The BKM status could be checked starting 28th March 2022 via http://bkm.hasil.gov.my.

“To ensure the targeted BKM programme is genuinely received by the qualified recipients, the period for appeal application will start from 2nd May 2022 for one month via https://bkm.hasil.gov.my.

“This process is to reconsider the application that has been rejected by giving room for them to forward their appeal with relevant documents for the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia to recheck.

“The government is always aware with the current needs and will be committed in ensuring the happiness of Malaysian Family especially the target group,” Ismail said in a statement here today. –Malaysia World News
