KUALA LUMPUR SEPT.8: A total of 44,853 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been inoculated to recipients via drive-thru at 13 vaccination administration centres (PPV) including eight in the Peninsular, two in Sarawak and three in Sabah.
Senior Minister of Defence, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said, the drive-thru PPVs that have been opened by the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) will increase its capacity for the civil society’s benefits in line with his statement on 2nd September 2021.
“MAF is just waiting for COVID-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) to confirm the locations for the vaccinations,” Hishammuddin said in his Facebook post here today.
Hishammuddin earlier said, besides arranging and mobilising the Combat Medic Vaccination Team (CMVT), MAF through the Malaysian Army will implement the vaccine inoculations by way of drive thru to assist the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK). – Malaysia World News
