PUTRAJAYA DEC.18: The Phase Three Special COVID-19 Aid (BKC) of RM300 each amounting RM1.2 billion and benefitting 3.8 million recipients in the poor category and B40 will be disbursed on 20th Dec.2021.
Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said, the payments for Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the BKC had been completed in September and November with the provision of RM3.4 billion and benefiting close to 10 million recipients.
“The status of BKC’s approval could be checked via BKC portal https://bkc.hasil.gov.my. For further details including the criteria of BKC recipient and the amount received, Malaysian Family could refer to the Schedule 2 and Frequent Asked Questions (FAQ) found in the portal.
“With this payment, the amount of aids totalling RM4.6 billion under BKC is completed as a fulfilment of the government’s commitment to lessen the burden of the people who are still affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The government is always committed to ensure the aids provided will guarantee the well-being of the Malaysian Family,” Ismail said in a statement here today. –Malaysia World News
