PUTRAJAYA APRIL 15: Two million youths nationwide are expected to benefit from ePemula programme with the provision of RM300 million under Budget 2022.
Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said, ePemula that is launched today is an initiative aimed at cultivating the transaction culture without cash among the youths besides lessening the financial burden of Malaysian Family.
Ismail said, the qualification check process and credit claims have been opened on 11th April 2022 and qualified youth will get a credit of RM150 in e-wallet of their choice namely BigPay, GrabPay, ShopeePay or Touch ‘n Go e-Wallet.
“I understand the four e-wallet providers have also given additional initiatives in the form of vouchers, collect points, discounts and many more interesting benefits throughout this programme.
“The government hopes via ePemula, qualified youths will spend their money wisely and using the RM150 credit to support the local business entrepreneurs, specifically micro, small and medium entrepreneurs (PMKS) via offline ,” Ismail said in his speech at the ePemula launch in Multimedia University, Cyberjaya here Friday. –Malaysia World News
