PUTRAJAYA 21 MAR: The COVID-19 new cases have dropped to 19,105 bringing the cumulative totals to 3,993,124 with 28,250 recovered adding to the cumulative totals to 3,684,665 as of 20th March 11.59pm.
Director General of Health, Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah said, 71 deaths are recorded including 26 brought in dead (BID) and the cumulative total stands at 34,400.
Dr. Noor Hisham added, the overall bed utilisation was 58.4 per cent while for COVID-19 was 41.9 per cent from 371 in the Intensive Care Units (ICU).
“There were 1,681 daily admissions to the hospitals nationwide and the overall utilisation was 64.8 per cent with COVID-19 occupying 56.4 per cent.
“The number of people quarantined recorded were 264,985 (96.7 per cent) while at Low Risk Quarantine and Treatment Centres (PKRC) 1,623 (0.5 per cent), hospitalised 7,080 (2.6 per cent), ICU 168 and ICU ventilated 203 (overall 33.0 per cent),” Dr. Noor Hisham said in a statement here today. –Malaysia World News
