No more roadblocks between Selangor, KL, Putrajaya

KUALA LUMPUR: The Klang Valley including Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya have been moved to Phase Two of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) beginning today (Friday, Sept 10).

This morning most roads to Kuala Lumpur witnessed heavy jam again as movement between Selangor, KL and Putrajaya are now permitted and there are no roadblocks.

This week Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the decision to move this area to phase 2 was taken by the Special Committee on Covid-19 Pandemic Management.

However, the inter-district travel is meant only  for those who have been fully inoculated.

Inter-state travel has been also allowed for “Long-distance couples who have been fully vaccinated.”

“Parents who have completed both doses of their vaccination are also allowed to travel inter-state to meet their children who are below 18.

“Dine-ins are also allowed at food premises for customers who have been fully vaccinated.

“Also allowed are tourism activities within the same state which involve accommodations at hotels and homestays for individuals who have been fully inoculated,” ismail said.
