KUALA LUMPUR DEC.15: The people should not be continuously stopped from moving around due to COVID-19, but they have to move on and live with the virus while adhering to the standard operating procedure (SOP) and take all the safety precautions to prevent infections.

Senior and Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said, the government have received many suggestions requesting that tourism spots like the National Zoo should be opened to the public, and sports and social activities should be allowed to convene.

“The Ministry of Tourism and Culture has been asked to come back with the SOPs regarding opening up specific tourism centres to the public to enhance domestic tourism and economic growth,” said Ismail in his daily press conference today.

Ismail said the Ministry of Youth and Sports is also requested to come up with the SOPs for outdoor and sports actives to be discussed with the Ministry of Health and National Security Council before the public are allowed to carry on with the activities.
