A Nepali security guard working for glove manufacturer Top Glove at its factory in Meru, Klang is believed to have died of Covid-19 on Saturday.

News portal The Vibes and many other local media reported that the foreign worker was admitted to hospital on Nov 21 where he passed away after 3 weeks of treatment.

It was reported earlier that more than 5,000 workers in Top Glove’s complex of factories and dormitories in Klang, Selangor have been tested Covid-19 positive, about 94% of them foreigners, the country’s health ministry said in a statement on Dec 1.
