Al-Sultan Abdullah advises MPs to fully support Budget 2021 to be tabled in Parliament

KUALA LUMPUR OCT. 28: His Majesty Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah urges the Members of Parliament to immediately stop the “political disagreement” instead give priority to the people’s welfare and prosperity of the country by approving the Budget 2021 without any disturbances.

Al-Sultan Abdullah said, the Budget 2021 that will be tabled at the Parliament in a matter of time is very important to the government and the authorities specifically to the front liners to continue and implement the policies and efforts to curb the threats of the COVID-19 from spreading.

His Majesty Yang di-Pertuan Agong said that in a statement issued by the Comptroller of the Royal Household Datuk Indera Ahmad Fadil Shamsudin here today.

The statement added, Al-Sultan Abdullah advises the MPs to give full support to the Budget 2021for the prosperity and the continuous livelihood of the people and the economic recovery of the country that has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Al-Sultan Abdullah reminds the MPs that “political disagreement” for individual’s interest will not benefit the country and the people will be victimised in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic.

The statement added, Al-Sultan Abdullah said that after the Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had an audience with him for the pre-cabinet meeting at the Istana Negara here today.

Muhyiddin had an audience with Al-Sultan Abdullah for more than an hour from 8am for the briefing on Budget 2021 that will be tabled in Parliament on 6th November 2020.

“Al-Sultan Abdullah expressed his confidence in Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to lead the country in the midst of various challenges and crisis that are facing the country,” said the statement.

The pre-cabinet meeting is among the weekly activities or main routine of Al-Sultan Abdullah to discuss and exchange ideas with the Prime Minister on the affairs and the issues related to the government. – Malaysia World News
