KUALA LUMPUR SEPT.23:- Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim claims that the Opposition has gained formidable and convincing support at this moment that will lead to the downfall of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) government headed by Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

Anwar who is also the President of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) said further information and actions will be known after his meeting with the Yang di-Pertuaan Agong within a short period of time.

Anwar said he has the support of “close to” two-third majority which comprises various parties including those in the present government and Barisan Members of Parliament (MPs).

The majority, he said is among Malay MPs.

“This administration will surely be represented by all the people consisting majority Bumiputera and a fair representation of other races in the country.

“We will uphold the constitutional principles including Islam as the official religion, sovereignty of the Malay rulers and empower Bahasa Melayu as the official language besides securing the rights of other races,” said Anwar at a press conference today. – Malaysia World News
