PUTRAJAYA: Tahfiz schools, tuition centres and private education institutions will reopen and resume operations soon.

Senior Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the dates of the reopening of tahfiz and “tuition centres, special education schools and private education institutions will be made known by the Education Ministry soon.

However, Ismail Sabri said,
only registered tahfiz schools and madrasahs can begin classes, and they must follow the SOPs that have been outlined by the Ministry.

“For such schools that are not registered, we will allow them to operate if they register with the state religious authorities. I do hope these schools will act responsibly and register, ” he said.
