Putrajaya: Stern action would be taken against any private school, including international schools that do not comply with the Movement Control Order (MCO) restrictions.

The Senior Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said,  during the conditional MCO period, the restrictions are applied to all schools, be it public or private.

“All schools are ordered to remain closed. Even international schools must adhere to our laws and regulations,” he said yesterday in the media daily breifing.

The Education Ministry is investigating,  if there are private schools that ignore the restrictions and resumed operations, a “Stern action will be taken against them,  and we will order them to close,” he added.
