Fourth EMCO extended to Selangor Mansion, Malayan Mansion — minister

PUTRAJAYA APRIL 7: Fourth Enhanced Movement Order (EMCO) has been extended today to the Selangor Mansion and Selangor Malayan Mansion with 365 living units and business premises in Jalan Masjid India, Kuala Lumpur.

The EMCO has been imposed effective from today following 15 occupants in the two mansions have been infected with COVID-19 positive.

Earlier three red zone areas have also been imposed with EMCO and it includes, Simpang Renggam, Johor, Sungai Lui, Hulu Langat,Selangor and Menara City One in Kuala Lumpur.

Minister of Defence and Senior Minister (Security Cluster), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said, the EMCO has started today until all the units in the two mansions have been traced for COVID-19 by the authorised officers.

“All occupants should stay in their houses and no visitors are allowed to visit them. I hope the occupants in that area will follow the directives of the authorities.

“The police, military, RELA, Civil Defence Forces (APM) and Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) enforcement officers will be guarding the two mansions throughout EMCO,” he said at the press conference here today.
