Malaysia hit 2,908 Covid-19 cases and 45 deaths

Malaysia has recorded another 142 new cases and two more deaths of coronavirus, bringing the total number to 45 deaths and 2,908 cases as of 12 noon today (1st April).

Director General of Health, Datuk Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah said, 645 infected people have been discharged, adding that currently there are over 4,000 people under quarantine.

He also said 2,359 volunteers in medical services have come forward including medical experts, nurses and medical officers, and he calls upon anaesthetic experts from private hospitals to come forward for assist too as they are much needed.
