Who has invented Coronavirus? Who benefits?

For months now, since January, we have seen and heard about thousands of people across the globe being killed and infected with coronavirus. This pandemic is not only killing or infecting people, but it is causing a global health, financial, and economic crisis. It shut down airports, sea and land borders, halted tourism, closed down businesses and lockdown and put millions of lives at stake. The World Health Organization (WHO) declared  that the global pandemic coronavirus has spread to more than 160 countries and territories, and has so far killed 10,000 people from almost 208,000 infected cases.

We have also heard and watched the great nations such as USA, UK, and France racing to find a vaccine or remedy that can cure or prevent covid-19. We also saw our local and world leaders showing their wisdom and enacting laws to stop the spread of this phenomenon. However, nobody dares to ask: Who invented coronavirus? Who benefits from it? Why it was started in China? Why Iran and Italy have been affected the most? And why the children not affected by this virus? The most interesting question here is – who invented coronavirus which causes the contagious disease or illness known as COVID-19?

People who know the answer will not tell us, of course, and investigators might never find the answer. There are so many assumptions, but hard to be proven.

Some investigators claim that coronavirus has been invented in Wuhan, China. Why Wuhan? This is the first question that can strike our minds. Why Wuhan?

Sources said it is because this city has the biggest scientific laboratories for Virology and virus studies in China and in the world.

According to Wikipedia, Virology is the study of viral – submicroscopic, parasitic particles of genetic material contained in a protein coat – and virus-like agents. It focuses on the following aspects of viruses: their structure, classification and evolution, their ways to infect and exploit host cells for reproduction, their interaction with host organism physiology and immunity, the diseases they cause, the techniques to isolate and culture them, and their use in research and therapy.

Various speculations included the possibility that the virus was bioengineered in one of the Wuhan labs. They said the coronavirus was invented from a bat, and that a lab worker was infected and then transmitted the disease to others outside the lab. However, researchers from the institute denied there is any link between the coronavirus outbreak and their laboratory.

According to Science Mag website, U.S. Senator Tom Cotton added fuel to controversial assertions on Fox News earlier this month when he noted that the lab was “a few miles away” from a seafood market that had a large cluster of some of the first cases detected. “We don’t have evidence that this disease originated there but because of China’s duplicity and dishonesty from the beginning, we need to at least ask the question to see what the evidence says,” Cotton said, noting that the Chinese government initially turned down the U.S. government’s offer to send scientists to the country to help clarify questions about the outbreak.

This week a video is making rounds on social media in which a French man is claiming that the coronavirus was invented by many scientists in a Wuhan lab established in 2013 with the collaboration of France. The speaker also claims that he and his team have the list of the names of those scientists who invented the virus.

Some scientists sarcastically criticized those who claimed that the disease originated from Wuhan seafood market where wild animals, including marmots, birds, rabbits, bats and snakes, have been sold illegally, and that the first people infected with the disease  contracted it from contact with animals. They said that people there were eating such wild animals for decades but they and the world had never had covid-19 before.

The Chinese government responded to the initial covid-19 outbreak by placing Wuhan under a de-facto quarantine to see whether cases will rise again. Now all the other infected nations such as South Korea, Japane, Italy, Iran, Malaysia have also put their people in a lockdown or quarantine.

Coronavirus started spreading to all countries since January, but unfortunately only on March 11 the World Health Organization (WHO)  officially announced that the  virus outbreak is a pandemic.
