PETALING JAYA: Non-Muslim superpowers such as China, Japan, and South Korea should support Palestine’s cause too and condemn Israel’s repression of the Palestinians in their land, says Malaysia Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
“I have spoken to the Japanese government on the issue of Palestinians but I have yet to speak to China. Maybe one day, I will.
“Religion has got nothing to do with this.
“These Palestinians are deprived of their human rights and even Japan and Korea must be concerned, ” he told reporters at the launch of the Third Annual Conference of the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds here yesterday.
Dr. Mahathir added that keeping quiet over the Israelis massacres of the Palestinians is like being complicit in the crime.
“If we, too, choose to be silent, the blood from the murders and killings of the Palestinians by the Israelis is on our hands as well.”
Dr. Mahathir also called US President Donald Trump to resign for his failure in his “deal of the century” plan which involves the “Israel-Palestine peace deal”.
“Resign, Trump must resign, ” he told reporters.
