PUTRAJAYA: Another Chinese tourist, who arrived in Johor from Singapore on Jan 24, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV),
According to New Strait Times (NST), the 59-year-old woman, from Wuhan, China, came to Johor with her husband, son and daughter-in-law from Singapore .
Health Minister Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad said at a press conference here yesterday, she was found to have been infected with 2019-nCoV when she was referred to a hospital on Feb 5.
“She developed a fever on Jan 26, but only took medicine that her son bought at a nearby pharmacy.
“She was scheduled to return to China on Feb 4, but decided to remain (in the country) because she was not feeling well.
This brought the total number of infections in Malaysia to 15.
