KUALA KANGSAR: PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said he was patient because as a president he had to build and protect PKR image.

“Some said that my level of patience is equal to God’s. Yes, I’m a patient man, but don’t test my patience.

“I am patient because I believe everyone has the right to give their views, but I won’t be patient if the views are showing that the party is weak and divided,” he said in his speech at the Perak PKR convention held at the Dewan Jubli  in conjunction with the 14th National Congress of justice last night, as reported by Malay Mail.

The Port Dickson MP was referring to those  PKR leaders who speak negatively about the party in public.

He also reminded all leaders and members to listen and help all the races.

“if you want to stay in this party must be a “good luck” and listen and solve the problems of all races. As leaders, we need to understand the suffering of the people and never betray the support they have given.”

Anwar and Azmin Ali have separated and the infighting has been escalated for months now.

According to some media reports, Azmin’s division is planning an alternative congress in Kuala Lumpur to the official event in Melaka next week.
