A statutory declaration accusing top PKR Leader of sexual harassment has been going viral on social media today.

The statutory declaration was made and released today by Muhammed Yusoff Rawther.

Muhammed claims that politicuian  had attempted to seduce him into oral sex and anal sex.

Muhammed also held a press conference in KL via Facebook live.

He said that the top leader had done something that is “un-Islamic and vile”

The 26-year-old man said he had decided to make the declaration because he was worried about his safety.

However, the statutory declaration has been dismissed as a political ploy to “sow discord and confusion” in PKR, says its communications director Fahmi Fadzil, as reported by The Star.

“This is a standard script, and the pre-Congress timing indicates a political ploy by those intent to sow discord and confusion in PKR.

“Our political enemies will never succeed, ” he told The Star briefly via a text message on Wednesday (Dec 4).

The family of the late consumer advocate SM Mohamed Idris today has also distanced itself from Muhammed`s claims.

In a statement, Idris’ brother Mohideen Abdul Kader said Muhammad`s claims were not known to any of his family members.

“The alleged incident is supposed to have taken place on Oct 2, 2018, more than one year ago. Yet none of our family members including his grandfather (Idris), who was very close to him, was told about it.

“Coming more than one year after the alleged incident, and two days before the PKR national congress, I believe that Yusoff has been manipulated by some politicians to serve their own interest,” Mohideen said , adding that he was confident Malaysians would reject such “gutter politics”.
