The prime minister, Dr Mahathir Mohamad admitted there have been discussions about changing some ministers’ portfolios.
But, according to local media, he denied speculation that there will be any reshuffle in his cabinet.
“I told the cabinet, maybe some portfolios will change. But not yet. No cabinet reshuffle, I haven’t done it yet.
“If I want to do it I will tell,” he was quoted as saying to reporters in Putrajaya today.
According to Malaysiakini, Mahathir has also denied that Jeli MP Mustapa Mohamed would be made a minister again.
“No. There is no reshuffle. No new ministers,” he said.
