Anwar: “I will ensure that corruption will not occur” when become the Prime Minister

PKR president Anwar Ibrahim at a meeting with Kelantan PH leaders in Kota Bharu yesterday said that he would not betray the country and he would help to develop it if he became the Prime Minister on Malaysia.

“I will not betray the country when I’m appointed to the post. Now, let’s give (Prime Minister) Dr Mahathir Mohamad the chance to rectify the situation in the country.

“The dignity of the Malay race and Islam will continue to be upheld.

” And I will ensure that corruption will not occur,” he was quoted as saying at the “Bicara Perdana” programme at Kampung Padang Siam here last night.
