Singapore: The Indonesian president Joko Widodo did not forget to visit and meet some of his country people who are working and residing in Singapore while he was attending the 33rd Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit here.
He took some time from his hectic schedule yesterday to visit an Indonesian restaurant and have lunch with his people.
Accompanied by a large entourage, he went to Orchard Road’s Lucky Plaza which is known for haven authentic Indonesian cuisines.
On the way to lunch, he was mobbed by a crowd of Indonesian people who wanted to snap a photo or take a selfie with him – He managed to grant a selfie with many of them.
“Went all the way to Singapore, I still ate at an Indonesian restaurant. Today, I had lunch at Bebek Goreng Pak Ndut restaurant in Lucky Plaza, Orchard Road,” Jokowi write later on his Twitter.-Malaysia World News
