KUALA TERENGGANU: The Prime Minister of Malaysia Najib Razak has a solution to the high rising cost of living or GST burden.
Today he said that cheap sales would alleviate the problem of high living cost in Malaysia.
He said this while giving a speech at the week-long Expo Terengganu 2018 here today.
The expo has also received praise from the Prime Minister, as it sells products and items at very cheap, affordable prices than actual market prices, besides showcasing the state’s achievements and plans to move forward.
“You could find fresh beef sold at RM22 per kilo, which is about RM7 cheaper than the market price. Fresh chicken and fish also cost less at the sale,” the Star quoted him as saying.
Najib also urged the Domestic Trade Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministery to have and encourage such cheap, friendly sale activities more often.
This good job highlights the Government’s commitment in finding solutions to people’s problems, he said.
At the same time, Najib slammed the opposion party, accusing them of doing nothing except creating and spreading fake news.
“Unlike us, the opposition can only spread lies and fake news, and bring up problems without having solutions for them,” he said.
“People are tired of political ceramah (talks),” he added.
Since the introduction of GST by the government in 2015, many Malaysian ordinary people have found it difficult to access to life daily basic needs such as good food and clothes which becoming expensive day after day.
