KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today announced that the government is allocating RM30 million to upgrade the physical structures of private Ma’ahad Tahfiz in the country.

Najib then expressed his sadness over the incident and extend his condolences to the deceased families.
“The government and UMNO will give aid to the deceased families. I will also give my personal aid as the “ustaz” and students from the tahfiz come to my residence at Jalan Duta every Friday night,” he added.
Regarding the aids he said, it will come in three categories namely; those who lost their family member; injured in the hospital and those in traumatic condition.
