Petaling Jaya, January 6th 2017 – NAZA Italia has introduced the new Maserati Quattroporte which comes with a substantial restyling that accentuates its elegance without altering its signature Maserati personality.
Datuk Wira Haji SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin, Group Executive Chairman of the NAZA World Group of Companies, said “The refined Maserati Quattroporte is poised perfection with enhancements and new variants that truly broaden its appeal. The winning combination of elegance, power, versatility and technology that has made the Maserati flagship so beloved is accentuated in the exceptionally stylish new Quattroporte, earning the trident praise the world over. We are thrilled to present the local market with the latest Quattroporte range that promises the premium quality craftsmanship and Maserati’s signature flair our discerning customers have come to admire.”
The exterior of the restyled Quattroporte is recognizable with a new bumper design with matte black profile at the front and the matte black extractor at the rear. The front grille is sharper and more imposing, and it introduces new vertical chrome elements, which contrast with the depth of the shark-nose effect. Other distinguishing details of the new Quattroporte are the matte black side skirts and the wing mirrors, which have been slightly restyled to incorporate new technology.
Improvements to the interior have been introduced to create a cleaner look by highlighting only the functional parts. This takes place through the clean integration of the new interface elements with the infotainment area and central console.
Specifically, the redesigned central dashboard now accommodates a high-resolution 8.4” capacitive touchscreen with multi touch technology.
A new package of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems is available as an option in the new Quattroporte. It includes Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop&Go, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning with Advanced Brake Assist, and Automated Emergency Braking. An additional new Surround View Camera is available as an option in combination with the Driver Assistance package.
All Quattroporte cars are now equipped with an Air Quality Sensor, a feature that substantially improves passenger comfort levels. This system combines an intelligent sensor and a signal analysis system which measures external pollution levels and prevents polluted air and toxic gases from entering the passenger compartment.
Engine-wise, the Quattroporte remains faithful to its traditions with a very wide range of powertrain options. The Quattroporte is based on V6 architecture and available in certain markets with 350 hp, 20 hp more than in the previous version, capable of delivering a powerful drive with torque of 500 Nm, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds and a faster top speed of 270 km/h.
The Quattroporte is also available as the Quattroporte S, with the 410 hp 3.0 litre Ferrari-produced V6 Twin-Turbo, with rear wheel drive. This version offers 550 Nm of torque and a 286 km/h top speed, accelerating from 0-100km/h in just 5.1 seconds.
The Quattroporte GTS, powered by the immense 530 hp 3.8 litre Ferrari-produced V8 Twin-Turbo with rear wheel drive, is capable of a peak torque of 710 Nm with a top speed of 310 km/h, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds.
All versions of the Quattroporte are fitted with state-of-the-art ZF eight-speed automatic transmission and electronically-controlled Skyhook shock absorbers; with an ideal 50:50 weight distribution and extensive use of aluminium in the chassis, body and suspension, performance and comfort are again unparalleled.
The Quattroporte is available at starting price of RM 778,800.00, and Quattroporte S and Quattroporte GTS price is available upon request. All three variants are petrol-engined and the prices include a 3 years/60,000km service package, as well as local duties and taxes.
