PM Najib Razak : Do not let foreigners intervene Malaysia’s affairs

KUALA LUMPUR 30 AUGUST – Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak urged all Malaysians to defend the independence of Malaysia from foreign intervention in whatever way.

He said, Malaysia had its independence on 31 August 1957 and as such it should be governed by its people themselves and be free from any interventions from foreigners.

“We should only get independence once and the people should benefit from it by undergoing a paradigm shift, a transformation from living in poverty to a prosperous and successful Malaysians.

“We pray to the almighty Allah to help us as we Malaysians have the similarities in our functions to achieve the same objectives and aspirations,  that is to live happily and defend the country’s independence,” said Najib at the “Amanat Hari Kebangsaan 2016 at Dewan Merdeka, Putra World Trade Center this evening.

He was speaking in front of a full audience hall  at PWTC prior celebrating Malaysia National Day on 31 August (tomorrow).

Najib also made the audience stood up and followed him to say that everybody is firmed and united to defend Malaysia’s harmony and independence.

The huge gathering was full of excitement and happiness, especially with the presence of the Olympic Games 2016 silver and bronze medalists, single badminton player Datuk Lee Chong Wei, men’s doubles Goh V Shem and Tan Wee Kiong, divers Pandelela and Jun Hoong, and cyclist Azizulhasni Awang.
